• Visit the Civil War Union Church in downtown Mount Jackson which was used as a hospital, and you can see where the wounded soldiers wrote their names on the wall. 
• Visit Our Soldiers Cemetery which has a monument listing the names of soldiers from all the Confederate states who died at the Mount Jackson Confederate Hospital.
• Visit the longest Covered Bridge in Virginia ~ Meems Bottom.
